Basingstoke 04 August 2015 - Tech Data Mobile is giving business resellers the opportunity to be first to market with the stunning new Moto G, the affordable next-generation smartphone from Motorola.

The new Moto G family is available to order from Tech Data Mobile with immediate effect. In addition, resellers can now also pre-order the new Moto X Play, which offers full 1080p HD resolution on a 5.5-inch screen, even longer battery life and an amazing 21 megapixel camera. A wide range of accessories for the Moto G and for all Motorola devices are also available from Tech Data.

The new Moto G builds on the popularity of previous versions and offers super-fast 4G/LTE connectivity for responsive mobile data and a more durable, water-proof design. The generous 5-inch, 1280 x 720-pixel display provides plenty of room for viewing and manipulating documents. The third-generation of the Moto G has all the qualities needed by today’s demanding mobile worker. It is super-light and thin and offers an all-day battery life. Powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 306 GPU, models are available with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, or 1GB and 8GB storage, and a microSD slot enables further expansion of up to 32GB. The 5-inch 720p display has tough Gorilla Glass with IPX7-rated protection. It comes with full support for Android 5.1.1. There is a 13MP rear camera and it is water-resistant up to depths of one metre.

The Moto X Play is due to be released later this month and resellers and dealers can place pre-orders for shipment on the official release date of 24 August, either through their account manager or online via Tech Data’s InTouch system.
